The taste of gold
His hand was outstretched grasping,clawing and pulling towards the sun. Piece by piece it was disappearing. Slowly, flakes of skin were taken away by the wind,to be one,with the earth it came from.His wedding band was shinning like a star under the sun´s light. It felt so bright and blinding and it would be the last thing he would see. This is what made him the happiest,this is what caused his demise, and it would be the last thing he would see.Poetic. Sky was getting filled with smoke,dark thick smog,everything was turning black around him,the death was near now. Creeping and clawing at him,slowly getting closer.He could taste that shining ring in his throat,cold,acidic metal, leaving a sour taste before his death. The ring was on his hand but everything at that point felt tied to it,because of it. Soon there will be nothing left of him,no trace,nothing but ash and he will be one with the smokey skies and the dark earth.Man was leaving this land but his treasures will stay,his go...
