The dancing lights
Darkness.Cold.Void.Nobody is here.It's just you and nothingness.You try to scream but nothing comes out. You try to move but you cannot. You feel helpless,alone,abandoned. You feel like there is no escape,nowhere you can go and nobody will help you.
But..but open your eyes.See all of the stars around you.The stars that are close,the stars that are far.They all shine in their own way,so wonderful,so beautiful and mesmerising. All these vibrant bright colours,making all of these wonderful shapes in the sky. Their warm glow is calming,it's soothing. You are not alone.Surrounded by the stars,the many many stars of this vast open space. They dance for you,they play with you.You feel light and forget your worries. You are not alone.Tonight the stars are dancing for you and you dancing for them. Engaged in what seems like a never ending movement of twinkling lights in this vast dark space.
Someday these stars will dim but the new ones will start shinning and the dance will continue.The light will keep on shining and another traveller will start the dance of lights. It might seem dark,it might seem cold and feel like you are all alone.But..but open your eyes and see the lights.The many twinkling lights of different colours and shapes and embrace their dance,dance with them and shine bright together in this vast open darkness.
