The struggle of emotions

   The land where human emotions turn into creatures. A fragmented world full of toil and suffering,full of happiness and promise of hope. A land where time stands still and it is all one and the same and yet, many and much more.

   The sadness,is a,sad little creature. It’s moaning and moping around,looking hurt and down. Never really quite happy.Poor sadness,nobody likes it,nobody want’s to feel it. At least it’s got compassion to keep it upbeat. Compassion always tried to keep sadness happy and gives it hope, but none can be found as sadness is set on it’s ways. Compassion is a pretty little thing,so sweet and gentle. Speaking of hope,always so optimistic. Light on his feet,always determined and ready.Never gives up.Hope is involved in everything and with everyone,people do like their hope. So upbeat,almost to the point of sickening. That’s what anger says. Always not happy,always angry. It is a surprise how this land is still standing with all the anger living around. This massive hulking creature of pure fire.Anger is very hard to please. Always unhappy and ready to blow up.Sadness just winds it up and compassion is getting in the way.

   The far reaches of fear itself do not help the denizens of this land. Fear engulfs all,true to the belief and leaves everyone paranoid that all of the emotions will be obsolete,that they all inferior to each other. Fear has a strong grip on this land, with anger being one of the few who can topple the slithering giant. They all agree,they hate happiness. Happiness is always upbeat and positive,rubs it in everyone’s face. She is always so positive and sweet,so helpful and nice. She is on top of the world,every day of her life.Even though she tries to cheer everyone up,it never works because nobody is as happy as happiness. Happiness,has the power to topple fear and anger. They tried it with hope,they came close but they did not succeed. Happiness and hope,are stuck in eternal struggle with fear and anger,over who takes the reigns of all the emotions. Greed does not help. Sneaky,slithering, oozing being.Always involved with everyone,pushing them to fight for the coveted title and rule. Greed is like an adviser who only speaks lies and tells you what they want you to do. But,there is always a bright light of generosity to keep the greed at bay.They balance each other well. She is good for you and I,she wakes up happiness in the morning.

   Above all else,above all of the, is the most destructive force. Love. Love is a tricky emotion. This enchanting,mysterious damsel, who looks like she will sweep you up in the moment or take your heart out.Depends on the day and how she feels. So charming and beautiful.She gives so generously but takes it all away with equal speed and might. She has the power to make you feel like you are on top of the world and yet,she bears the power to destroy you and reduce you to nothing. To leave you the shell of that what was. Anger and fear are scared of love,as it can beat them both,yet compassion and hope and happiness,they all weary too. They know all too well how merciless and punishing can love be. Besides of the smaller emotions of this land. There is one mysterious stranger,nobody knows much about him. Hatred,they call him. Tall,dark figure. It sits in the shadows,until the time comes.When it does,Hatred makes you go insane. It gives power of anger and strikes at the happiness and yet,it never quite beats it. Hatred,is a mystery but when he wakes and strikes,you know.He got the sights on love but she knows it,and she will fight back to keep her title of the one who gives as well as the one who takes.

   In the end,they all come together,to form one. To form,you and I and us. They all would not be the same without the other and in the end they manage to live in harmony. There is always an eternal struggle between them all but in the end,when one topples the other,someone new takes the throne of the emotion of the day.
